Our free day we rode the Metro from our campground in College Park into DC. Toured the Spy Museum. So interesting.

Protraiture Museum (another Smithsonian) is a beautiful building. It's one of the oldest in DC. Lincoln's inauguration ball was held here.
Navy Memorial below. These bronze pictorials were very well done.
Couldn't help but take another picture looking down Pennsylvania Ave.
Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial. He did not want anything large.
Archives of the United States hold the original Declaration of Independence and US Constitution. Also had a nice tribute to the Viet Nam War.
The DC Metro is the only way to get to and from downtown. Very easy and fast.
